Outreach

Reach Children’s Services offers support services to families, schools and agencies through Westmeath and the surrounding area.

Support for Families
Meaningful assessment and intervention often requires an understanding of the environments and context in which skills and behaviours naturally occur. Our therapists are available to visit a child in his or her own environment, observe natural interactions and daily functioning, and guide caregivers in the most appropriate strategies to introduce into routines and use on a daily basis.

Functional Support
If you looking for behavioural support in your home (or a home setting), please contact us. Each case is unique, therefore it is important for us to have a conversation with you to discuss the ideal support outcomes for your specific needs.

We also encourage you to visit our site pages for more information:

Development and supervision of Home Tuition Programmes

Support for Schools and Service Providers
Our therapists have extensive experience supporting schools and services, including early intervention settings, and all the way through to secondary school.

We specialize in creating bespoke training programmes suited to your unique needs and strongly believe in promoting evidence-based practices.

We also offer ongoing programme consultation services to new and existing classrooms, as well as academic and non-academic service providers who are looking for more practical, hands-on guidance.

Support for Local Parent Groups and Community Groups
We frequently work with parent groups to increase the accessibility of information and services to local communities.

This includes the delivery of training and workshops on a range of therapy related topics, as well as Sibshops, which are fun, energetic, supportive events designed specifically for siblings of those with special needs.

We also provide ‘day clinics’ to provide individualized, brief consultations to multiple families at a reduced rate. These clinics can be hugely helpful to families who are unable to get to our Navan-based location or would like to avail of the reduced rates of consultation. These clinics require a therapy or consultation space to be provided by the group.

If you are involved in a local group and/or are interested in learning more about how we can support your community, please get in touch.

Get in touch with us, we’d love to help!

We want to hear from you!

Send us a message, or give us a call.

One of us will get back to you to talk about how we can help.
